How does FirstMotion join our meeting?
Just send us the calendar invite or meeting link. We join as a participant (like any attendee) via Zoom, Teams, Google Meet, or any video platform. No software to install, no integration required.
What if the output has a mistake?
FirstMotion creates a draft, not a final document. Your manager reviews and approves every set of minutes before distribution. They're verifying, not authoring—which is faster and actually safer than typing from memory.
How is this different from other tools?
Generic tools write summaries. They don't know that "I think we should..." isn't a motion, but "I move to..." is. FirstMotion extracts motions, seconds, vote counts, and outcomes that general tools miss or get wrong.
Do I need to integrate with my HOA software?
No. FirstMotion works alongside whatever you use—CINC, AppFolio, Vantaca, TOPS, or even spreadsheets. Zero IT setup. We deliver a Word doc your managers can use anywhere.

What about executive session content?

Draft minutes are delivered within 24 hours of your meeting ending. For evening meetings, you'll typically have your draft by the next business day.
What format are the minutes delivered in?
We deliver a Word document (.docx) that your managers can edit, format to match your templates, and distribute as needed. We can also accommodate specific formatting requests.
